Business Bio

The executive blueprint — building and operating ventures across real estate, hospitality, nightlife, and rare materials through disciplined execution and systems design.

Bayless Cobb is a Coronado-born entrepreneur and systems-driven operator whose work spans real estate development, hospitality, nightlife, and rare materials. He is the founder and principal behind multiple interconnected ventures structured to operate as integrated platforms rather than standalone brands.

Cobb’s background combines real-world execution across finance, real estate operations, hospitality, and asset management. Rather than pursuing visibility-driven leadership, his work emphasizes governance, repeatable systems, and long-term asset performance. This approach informs how teams are assembled, capital is deployed, and projects are designed to function cohesively over time.

As founder of King Diamond Inc., Cobb established a platform focused on diamonds and precious materials while also serving as the operating and governance framework for his broader ventures. Under this structure, principles developed in sourcing, valuation, and disciplined execution are extended into real estate, hospitality, and nightlife environments.

Through RDG Design Group, Cobb leads concept-driven residential, hospitality, nightlife, and commercial development, integrating architecture, interiors, flow, and guest experience into a unified system. Through Cor-Prop Management, he oversees operations, maintenance, construction coordination, and long-term stewardship of residential and hospitality assets across California and Florida.

Cobb’s hospitality work includes AD Nightclub in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, where atmosphere, pacing, and spatial design are treated as architectural tools, as well as fast-casual and experiential concepts developed with scalability and operational repeatability in mind.

Across all ventures, Cobb applies a capital-aware, execution-first philosophy focused on durability rather than trend-driven growth. His work reflects an emphasis on systems that align design, operations, and capital to produce assets and brands designed to perform over time.
